1. Data Collected

  • Marketing site: email (newsletter/waitlist/contact), name, company, ROI calculator inputs
  • Digital store: email, name, billing info (via Stripe — Rovaryn does not store card numbers), download history
  • SaaS application: organization profile, license records, license holder names, CE logs, bond records, alert configurations, usage analytics
  • Automatically: IP address, browser type, page views (via Plausible — cookieless), error data (via Sentry)
  • Optional: GA4 analytics cookies when NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID is configured (see Cookie Policy)

2. How Data Is Used

  • Delivering the subscribed services
  • Sending renewal alert emails (core product function)
  • Sending transactional emails (receipts, invites, password resets)
  • Sending newsletter and waitlist updates (only if you opted in)
  • Improving product features via aggregate analytics
  • Responding to support requests

3. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase (database, authentication) — US/EU data centers
  • Stripe (payment processing) — PCI-compliant; card data never touches Rovaryn servers
  • Vercel (hosting) — US edge CDN
  • Resend (transactional email) — US email infrastructure
  • Plausible (cookieless analytics) — EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant
  • Sentry (error tracking) — US servers
  • Google Analytics 4 (optional — only when configured) — US servers; see Cookie Policy

4. Data Retention

  • Active account data: retained for subscription lifetime + 90 days post-cancellation
  • Newsletter/waitlist: retained until you unsubscribe
  • Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months
  • Alert delivery logs: retained for 24 months (compliance audit support)

5. User Rights (PIPEDA + GDPR)

  • Access: request a copy of your data at eddy@licensedtrades.com
  • Correction: update your data in-app or email support
  • Deletion: email eddy@licensedtrades.com; data deleted within 30 days
  • Portability: export your compliance records via CSV at any time from the app
  • Unsubscribe: one-click unsubscribe in any email, or via /newsletter/unsubscribe
